Phillip Paul Cataldi - Obituary

hillip Paul Cataldi "Phil," 49, a resident of Annapolis for twenty-seven years and formerly of Dover, DE, died on Monday, July 10 at his home due to bladder cancer. Born on December 5, 1967, in Uncasville, CT to Ben and Alice Cataldi, Phil graduated from Lake Forest High School in Delaware and from Virginia Tech University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. During his career, he worked as an electrical engineer with Stanford Telecom, ITT Industries and Harris Corporation. Phil was an automotive enthusiast and was a member of the Capital Area Cobra Club and the BMW Special Interest Group. He enjoyed sailing, boating, HAM radio, photography, and traveling. In addition to his parents, Phil is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Michele Gagnon; his brother, Ben Cataldi, Jr. of Seaford, DE and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Alex, Brock and Nicholas Cataldi. Friends are invited to celebrate Phil's life on Friday, July 14 from 6 to 8 pm, and on Saturday, July 15 from 1 pm until his funeral service begins at 2 pm at the George P.
