Phillip Feaster - Obituary

hillip A. Feaster Departed this life peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Washington Hospital Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Tianna and Christopher (Juanita); three grandchildren, Jayden, Michael and Trevon. He leaves to mourn two sisters, Ruby Carr (Lewis) and Shirley Ritter, one brother, James Feaster, five sisters-in-law, two aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Boisey Feaster, and brothers Edward, Carl and Ronald. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 12, at Mt. Enon Baptist Church, 9832 Piscataway Road, Clinton, MD 20735 with Rev. Joe Clark, Pastor of Fort Washington Christian Church officiating. Viewing will be on Thursday, March 11 from 6 -- 8 PM at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD and Friday from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM at Mt. Enon Baptist Church. Interment at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD on March 24, 2010 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boisey Feaster Scholarship Fund.
