Phyllis Brown - Obituary

hyllis M. Brown passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence in District Heights, MD on Sunday, August 16, 2015; the beloved wife of Frank M. Brown, Sr.; mother of Frank M., Jr. (Phyllis), John E. (Michelle) and Richard L. (Ann) Brown, Sr.; sister of Paul A. (Joan) McGowan and the late Bill McGowan and Shirley Albert. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Phyllis' Celebration of life on Thursday, August 20 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday, August 21 from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Mount Calvary Catholic Church, 6700 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's National Medical Center or to the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.Links to both charities are listed below.
