hyllis Ellwood Page, 70, of Lothian, died of cancer May 17 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mrs. Page was born in Washington, D.C., reared in High Bridge in Prince George's County and graduated from Laurel High School. She lived and worked at Larchdale Woods, an apartment complex in Laurel, for many years.
Surviving are her husband, Marvin "Buzz" Page; two sons, James Jones of Florida and Kenneth Jones of Columbia; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Ellwood of Laurel and Allen Ellwood of Falls Church., Va.; and three sisters, Joanne Lowry of Camp Springs, Christine Stewart of Florida and Alicia Merson of Laurel.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francis D. "Blackie" and Pearl Ellwood; one sister; and two brothers, Francis Ellwood and Jesse "Bubbie" Ellwood.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Laurel. Arrangements are by Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401 or online at:
