HILLON, RAMNIK SINGH – “Nik”, of Warsaw VA passed away suddenly from cardiac arrest on August 4, joining his parents, Chloe and N. Singh Dhillon. Nik left behind his loving angel of a wife Tammy who was his true soul mate. Nik was born in Annapolis Maryland. After graduation from The Key School, Nik attended Glasgow University in Glasgow Scotland. Nik loved to travel, and while in college, frequently visited his brothers and sister who were in Germany, Egypt and Houston. Nik married Holly Bryant and they had 3 beautiful daughters, Madeline, Courtney and Savannah. They lived in Maryland, Colorado and the Northern Neck of Virginia. Nik was passionate about life and was a true patriot. He taught the girls to never give up, live life to the fullest, fulfill their dreams and to be self-sufficient, telling them frequently to USE THEIR RESOURCES. Nik joined other family members in the construction industry and he became extremely accomplished in carpentry, metal workings, HVAC, plumbing. Friends and family continuously called on him for assistance with construction projects and Nik was always happy to lend his expertise. With three teenage daughters, he had to become an expert at auto repair and towing. He loved to work with tools and his large man-cave garage was always filled with different projects. His handmade presents were treasured by friends and family. Nik was known for his warm smile that lit up a room, his deep infectious laugh and his warm personality. Nik never knew a stranger and was friends to everyone he met. Nik loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, sailing and venturing off to new places. He never wanted to miss an experience. Nik is survived by his loving wife Tammy, daughters Madeline of the Northern Neck of VA, Courtney and Savannah of Raleigh NC; brother Kimball and sister SuSheila of Annapolis; brother Kris of Ellicott City; step-daughter Jennifer Carr and step-son Steven Schmitt of Edgewater, grand-daughter Chloe of Edgewater, and many loving aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, August 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 12 at 11am.
