n March 21, 2016, in Oxon Hill, Maryland, Raymond I. “DingDing” Dingle took his journey to the celestial shores of heaven. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife of 24 yrs, Chardon Dingle, daughter Renita Dingle (Tyrone Ponder), son, Brigadier General Scott Dingle (Sonja), eight grandchildren Ashleah, Ray, Dominic, Morgan and Burnie Branch, 2 step daughters, a loving sister, Cindy Statton, and a great grand-daughter, Akiva. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He is predeceased by his mother Lucille Griffith and 5 brothers. Raymond was an active member of the Misr Temple #213, Retired Air Force, Retired US Capitol Police, and USO Volunteer (Andrews AFB).
Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. until the time of the Shriners’ Burial Tribute at 7:00 p.m at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, Md. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, 9832 Piscataway Rd, Clinton MD. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m on Wednesday, April 13, 2016.
