Raymond J. Manogue - Obituary

aymond John Manogue, "Ray", a 28-year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Rockville, MD, died on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his residence. Born on January 27, 1933, to the late James and Helen Manogue, Ray was a graduate of Georgetown University. He had a long career as one of the top salesmen at Stanford Paper Company. Ray was an avid golfer, a devoted family man and for many years an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Ray is survived by his three children, Raymond John Manogue, Jr. of Edgewater, MD, Robert (Megan) Francis Manogue of Eldersburg, MD and Michael (Emma) Paul Manogue of Texas; two siblings, Margaret Dimond and Ralph Manogue and four grandchildren, Liam Manogue of Texas, Anna and Sean Manogue of Baltimore, MD, and Kevin Manogue of Eldersburg, MD. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Mary Elizabeth Manogue on November 27, 2020 and by his siblings, William, Joseph and Helen Manogue. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Road, Edgewater, MD, on Thursday May 12 from 10:30 AM until Mass of the Resurrection is offered at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) or Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (alzheimersprevention.org).
