Renee Dufrene - Obituary

enée Marie Dufrene Renée Marie Dufrene, 87, a 38 year resident of Crownsville died on August 14, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born March 19, 1925 in New Orleans, LA to the late Joseph and Marie Bergez, she was a graduate of Southern High School and worked as a telephone operator at C&P Telephone and the US Naval Academy. Renée enjoyed gardening, dancing, watching tennis and playing on the computer. She also enjoyed gospel and country music and crossword puzzles. Renée was predeceased by her husband Warren R. Dufrene, Sr.; her daughter Donna Lynne Dufrene and her 3 siblings. She is survived by her son Warren (Janine) R. Dufrene, Jr. of the Eastern Shore; daughters Cheryl (Nathan) Lynne Withrow and Carol (Tim) Jean Skapik, both of Crownsville. Also survived by her grandchildren; Jacque, Tricia (David), Michelle, Svetlana, Igor, Bryan, Aaron, Natasha ,Tabitha, Noel and her great-grandson Isaac. Friends are invited to Renée’s Life Celebration on Saturday, August 18 from 11am until her funeral service begins at 2pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, Maryland. Interment private.
