ichard Marbury “Dick, Dicky, Bucky” Baden, 84, a 55-year resident of Edgewater, MD passed away at his home on December 26, 2021. Born on November 25, 1937 in Washington D.C. to the late James and Mildred Baden, Richard attended St. Johns High School, and continued his education at CREI Engineering, Montgomery Jr. College, and USNR Technical School. He worked as a field engineer at Litton Industries and Northrop Grumman. He served his country in the United States Naval Reserve. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Edgewater, and a member of the American Legion. Richard loved to entertain people by singing and playing piano. He was also interested in golf, car racing, boating, and traveling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, James, Charles, William, and Elizabeth. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Mary Lou Nalls Baden, his children Richard, John, James, and Janet. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Colin, Jeff, and Jonathan, Marissa, Bella, and Emily, and three great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to Dicky’s life celebration on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 10:30 am until a Mass of Christian Burial is offered at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 515 Loch Haven Road, Edgewater, MD. Interment will follow at Ft Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD
