Richard Beall - Obituary

ichard Traband Beall, age 69, of Berlin, MD, formerly of Brandywine, MD, passed away on Thursday, April 23,2015, due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis. Richard was born January 13, 1946 in Cheverly, MD and was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Carlton Granville Beall, Sr., formerly Jean Traband. Richard was married to the former Linda Diederick and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 20, 2015. Richard is survived by his daughters, Sharon Beall Bouchard and her husband Capt. Donald Bouchard of Great Mills, MD and Noelle Beall Thomas, of Kannapolis, NC; his son, Richard Diederick Beall, Raston, MD and his grandchildren: John Bouchard, Christopher Webb, Patrick Bouchard, Ryan Beall, Madison Webb, Danielle Bouchard, Olivia Beall and Jaxson Thomas. Richard was the seventh generation Beall to grow up in Prince George’s County. He was a proprietor of East Pines Liquor’s in Riverdale, MD for over 30 years and worked the family farm for most of that time. He enjoyed the special moments of his life including the Beall Cousin Club events, NASCAR and his children’s accomplishments. He especially enjoyed playing with his toys: Harley motorcycle, jet-ski, boats and tractors. His cherished time was spending his time with family and friends at “the River” in Montross, VA. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Sunday, April 26 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, April 27 at 11am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8912 Old Branch Ave., Clinton, MD. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
