ichard Charles Louck of Grasonville, MD passed away on Tuesday Oct 6th at the age of 70 after an odds-defying battle with pancreatic cancer. His good cheer and powerful spirit extended his life. Born in 1945, he grew up in Glen Burnie and graduated from Washington College in 1967 where “Mr. Alpha Chi” played soccer on the 1964 Mason Dixon Conference Championship winning team inducted into the college’s Hall of Fame and lacrosse for the 1964 and 1965 Strobhar Division Champions. He went on to teach English and coach soccer, lacrosse and wrestling; founding the soccer program at Severn School and the lacrosse program at Detroit Country Day. He is survived by his wife, Jerrie Rae Louck; brother, Fred Louck; children Brant Louck, Jordyn Blakely and Nancy Louck; stepchildren, Matthew and Jasmin Tsou, and grandchild, Tiger Louck. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Richard's life from 1pm until his memorial service begins at 3pm on Monday, October 12 at the George P.
