ichard Henry "Dick" Lundsten, a resident of Annapolis for 12 years, died of colon cancer July 18 at home.
Born May 14, 1928, in Jamestown, N.Y., Mr. Lundsten graduated from the University of Miami in Florida.
Mr. Lundsten served in the Army and later worked at the Naval Ordinance Laboratory as a physicist for 28 years until his retirement in 1983.
His interests included woodworking.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Lundsten, whom he married April 25, 1959; two sons, Richard H. Lundsten Jr. of Bowie and Donald D. Lundsten of Crownsville; and two granddaughters. He was the brother of the late Daniel Lundsten.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on July 28 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater, where memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Burial is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
