Richard McKenna - Obituary

ichard David McKenna, “Rick”/”Ghostrider”, 57, a 15-year resident of Selby/Edgewater, MD died on Friday, March 02, 2012 in Edgewater, MD of liver cancer. Born September 1, 1954 in Tampa, FL, he attended Mayo Elementary, Annapolis Jr. High School and Southern High School. Rick was employed for Jones of Annapolis, Aggtrans and JE Owens, III. He was awarded the Million Mile Safe Driver Award. Rick is survived by a son, David McKenna of Brogue, PA; his mother, Viola McKenna Crawford Dixon of New Market, VA; a granddaughter, Madeline McKenna; two brothers, Carty Crawford of Annapolis, MD and Larry Crawford of Edgewater, MD; and his former wife, Roberta McKenna. Friends are invited to Rick’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Wednesday, March 7 from 6 to 8pm. Interment private.
