Richard Pfau - Obituary

n Monday, October 5, 2015; Born and raised in Riverside, New Jersey and later resided in Upper Marlboro, Maryland; died of cancer at Calvert Memorial Hospital, Prince Frederick, Maryland. Richard was a man who served others, either as a Safety Manager, Firefighter, EMT, Special Police Officer or his church, St. Paul's Moravian Church. Rich was an avid fisherman and looked forward to fishing trips on the Chesapeake Bay or with his brother Larry on Long Beach Island. He was also an Air Force veteran. He will be fondly remembered for his fabulous grilling and smoking skills at the annual Cuzn's Barbeques held in Beach Haven, New Jersey and Bensalem, Pennsylvania. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Moravian Church, 8505 Heathermore Blvd, Upper Marlboro, Maryland on Thursday, October 22 at 11:00am. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24 at 11am at Lakeview Memorial Park, Rt. 130, Cinnaminson, New Jersey. He is survived by his brother Lawrence J. Pfau of Homosassa, Florida.
