Richard Sandleman - Obituary

ichard James Sandleman, of Annapolis, died at Anne Arundel Medical Center on July 6, 2013. He was 64. Born June 28, 1949 in Albany, NY, he graduated from Prince George's Community College. Richard was employed as a respiratory therapist at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore and worked at Sandy Point State Park. He was a member of Lanham United Methodist Church and enjoyed American civil war and world history and continuing his education. Richard was a volunteer EMT with the Prince George's County Fire Department during the 1970's and recently volunteered at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy B. Sandleman. Richard is survived by his father, Marcus A Sandleman and his wife, Julie of Annapolis; a sister, Laura S. Danner and her husband, Raymond of Riva; and one step-sister, Mary Ellen Burns of Berkeley, CA. Services and interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401 or a Charity of one's choice.
