Richard Stewart - Obituary

ichard “Rich” Bruce Stewart, 56, a resident of Annapolis, MD for over 30 years and previously of Northern Virginia died on July 7, 2008 in Annapolis, MD. Born July 1, 1952 in Washington, D.C. to the late Anna Louise & Chandler Stewart, Jr., he was in the 1970 graduating class from Thomas A. Edison High School in Alexandria, VA, he also graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associates Degree in Hotel/Motel Management in 1972. He was the founder and owner of Data Care, Inc. in Annapolis, MD and was also the founder and owner of Electronics Communications in Rockville, MD, which he sold in 1984. Survivors include his fiancé, Charlotte Stewart of Arnold, MD; brother of John C. Stewart of Washington, D.C., Leslie Anne Shacka of Annapolis, MD and Carole Jane Beresh of Stafford, VA; uncle of Michael Morris of Alexandria, VA, Daniel Unger of Hyattsville, MD and Sarah Unger of Waldorf, MD. Friends are invited to Richard's Life Celebration on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD at 1:00pm. Interment will be on Monday, July 14 at 1:00pm at Mt. Comfort Memorial Park, 6600 South Kings Highway, Alexandria, VA. Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in Richard's memory.
