“Dick”
Richard Wallace “Dick” Williams, Jr., 77, a resident of Heritage Harbour in Annapolis and previously of Dunkirk, MD, passed away on September 15, 2017 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Born on November 18, 1939 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Margaret L. and Richard W. Williams, Sr., Dick graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a parishioner of St. James Parish for over 25 years, and a member of the Masons. Dick’s interests included cribbage and woodworking.
In addition to his parents Dick was preceded in death by his step-father, Ernest D. Lounsberry. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ruth Ann K. Williams; his daughters, Debbie Williams of Raleigh, NC and Julie W. Bazzell of Stevensville, MD and four grandchildren, Katie Emmitt, and Olivia, Ryan and Ellie Bazell.
A memorial service will be held for Dick on Wednesday, September 20 at 11 a.m. at St. James Parish, 5757 Solomons Island Rd., Lothian, MD 20711. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. Interment will be private.
