Robert "Bobby" E. Johnson - Obituary

obert “Bobby” E. Johnson, 62, a four–year resident of Chester, MD and previously of Edgewater, MD passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Annapolis, MD. Bobby was born on September 11, 1960 in Washington, DC, to the late Kenneth and Barbara Johnson. He was a graduate of the University of MD, and retired from the Federal Government after 3 decades. His interests included; football, golfing, motorcycles, eating crabs, boating and spending time with his family. In his younger years, Bobby boxed in Golden Gloves; he also raced motocross and was ranked #2 on the East Coast. Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Monika, his daughters; Shannon, Brooke, Morgan and Courtney, his siblings, Lisa, Kelly and Marty. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Ashton, Maddox, Palmer, Kailey, Karalyne and Vivienne, his furry companion Max, the “Best Boy Ever”, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bobby's life on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 5 pm until 9 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037. A time of remembrance will begin at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bobby’s memory may be made to the Queen Anne’s County Animal Services, 201 Clay Dr, Queenstown, MD 21658.
