Robert "Ed" Edward Coby - Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Edward Coby of Annapolis on December 29, 2025. Ed was a graduate of Lincoln Tech Institute, where he pursued studies in automotive services. He enjoyed funny car racing and sailing. This led to this passion with the U.S. Coast Guard auxiliary and governing positions with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Club and the Fleet Reserve Club. He is survived by his brother James Coby, his wife Dawn, and their 3 sons James Jr., Gary (Vanessa), and Michael. He was also survived by his sister Donna Maloney, her husband Jim, and their son James III (Meghan) and daughter Megan. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert (Bob) and Gladys Coby. A celebration of Ed's life will be held on Sunday, April 19 at 12 noon at the Fleet Reserve Club of Annapolis.
