Robert Leo Alarie - Obituary

obert Leo "Bob" Alarie, 81, a resident of Kent Island for 21 years and previously of Annapolis, MD, died on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at his home after a brief illness. Born on November 5, 1936 in Chicopee Falls, MA to the late Phillippe and Jeanette Alarie, Bob served in the U.S. Navy. He was a hairstylist, barber and realtor for most of his life. Bob was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed reading, the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox and he also loved coaching youth baseball, basketball and soccer, which he did for many years. Friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life on Sunday, March 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where his funeral service will be held on Monday, March 12 at 11 AM.
