Robert R. Bold - Obituary

obert Roy Bold, “Bob”, 75, a resident of Chester, MD and previously of Davidsonville, passed away on April 12, 2021 in Easton, MD. Bob was born on July 29, 1945 in Washington, DC to the late Edgar and Mary Bold. He served his country proudly in the US Army. He worked as a manager for Verizon for 38 years. He was a member of the Davidsonville Ruritan, the American Legion and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Annapolis. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Ethel R. Bold in 2020. He is survived by his children, Sharon Bold Merkel and her husband Kenneth, and Daniel Alan Bold and his wife Heather, and one granddaughter, Rebecca Ann Merkel. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 10am at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037.
