Robert Edwards - Obituary

obert Benjamin Edwards “Bob”, age 75, a fifteen year resident of Heritage Harbour, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of natural causes. Born May 9, 1937 in Washington, D.C., Bob graduated from Eastern High School and was employed as a route salesman with Continental Baking Company for many years. After retirement, he owned and operated Edwards Custom Homes for 10 years. Bob was a member of Chesapeake Christian Fellowship in Davidsonville and was a man of many hobbies, he especially loved dancing. Bob is survived by his wife, Paige Edwards, whom he married in Washington, DC in 1956; three sons, Gary Edwards of Crownsville, Kevin Edwards of Edgewater and Brian Edwards of Chester; and a daughter, Sandy Stoll of Pasadena. He is also survived by one grandson, six granddaughters and 8 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to Bob's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater on Saturday, May 12 from 2 to 4pm. A funeral service will be held at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship, 377 W Central Avenue, Davidsonville on Monday, May 14 at 11am. Entombment Lakemont Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chesapeake Christian Fellowship.
