Robert L. Haas - Obituary

assed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, in Temple Hills, MD, after a battle with cancer. Bob was a life long resident of the Washington, D.C. area and was a surveyor for the federal government for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Anacostia High School. He also served his country in the Vietnam War. He was the beloved uncle of Kathy, Susan, Angela, and Vernon. He was a close companion of the late Joanne and a beloved father figure to Jerry and LaShawn. Funeral services will be held at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd. Oxon Hill, MD on Monday, September 19 at 11:00 am. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
