obert Frank Stepp, “Bob”, age 90, passed away at his home on Monday, April 13, 2026, of natural causes. Born on January 16, 1936, to the late Henry and Blanche Stepp, Bob grew up in Bladensburg, MD and graduated from Bladensburg High School. It was there where he met his wife of 68 years. Bob spent the first 35 years of his life in the suburbs of Washington DC where he met and married his wife of 68 years, Christina Elizabeth Corso, “Tina” in 1956. After graduating from Bladensburg High School and finding the love of his life, he was called off to serve his country in the US Army from 1958 to 1962. He was stationed in Germany for most of those years, where his daughter, Debbie, was born. After returning home from the service they lived in Hyattsville, MD where his son Bobby was born. In 1971 he moved his family to Annapolis, MD, where he lived out his remaining 55 years. Bob worked hard and managed commercial heating and air conditioning companies until he retired. He was very involved in his community, participating in and organizing bowling, horseshoe and pool leagues. In addition to being a parishioner at our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in West River, MD, he was a member of the American Legion, Moose and Elks Clubs where he could frequently be found helping, encouraging and usually beating all comers. He also loved to read. He would frequently be seen carrying out a stack of books from the library. Bob also enjoyed fishing and crabbing at his community marina and had a tremendous sense of humor. He was known as a master joke teller. Bob is survived by his wife, Tina; his children Robert Stepp of Clearwater, FL and Debera Theiss of Augusta, GA; his siblings, Eddie Stepp of Richmond, VA and Grace LaChance of Riverdale, MD; his grandchildren, John Hery and Jacob Adam Theiss and Stasia Skelton and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sisters, Jeanette Utterson and Elinore Fortney. Bob loved his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and son and he loved his brother and sisters very much. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17 from 11 am until Mass of the Resurrection is offered at 12 noon at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 101 Owensville Rd., West River, MD.
