obert Michael Tobin, “Bob”, age 61, a 15 year resident of Annapolis, MD formerly of Upper Marlboro, MD died suddenly on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 at AAMC of a heart attack. He was born on February 20, 1947 in Washington, DC. Bob received his undergraduate degree and Law degree from the University of Baltimore. From 1974-96 he worked for the Prince George's County State's Attorneys Office. After that he established the Robert Tobin Law Office where he practiced as a criminal defense attorney. Bob served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Annapolis, MD, the Law Review, Anne Arundel County Bar Assn., P.G. Co. Bar Assn. and the Marine Corps League. He enjoyed gardening and reading in his spare time. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn M. Tobin, they were married on June 14, 1969. Father of Robert M. Tobin, II of Baltimore, MD and Kimberly Ann Tobin of Annapolis, MD; brother of Kathleen Fontana of Clarksville, MD, Timothy J. Tobin of Elmira, NY, Richard J. Tobin of Washington, D.C. and Ronald D. Tobin of Laurel, MD; grandfather of Hanna K. Tobin. Friends are invited to Bob's Life Celebration at THE GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD on Sunday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Monday, September 15 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Annapolis, MD. Interment private.
