Robert L. Waybright - Obituary

obert (Bob) L. Waybright, Sr of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed on Sunday March 15, 2020 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Bob is survived by his two sons, Robert (Liz) Waybright, Jr, and Russell (Lonita) Waybright; two granddaughers, Meradith Waybright and Jillian (Cody) Jasper; grandson Michael (Donna) Szyman; and great-grandson Thomas Greenwood, Jr. He is predeceased in death by his wife of 64 years, Emily Waybright; his daughter Lorraine Szyman; and his grandson Steven Waybright. Bob began his career in the automotive industry in 1951 with the purchase of his first Esso Gas Station. With the support of his loving wife, he was able to expand his ownership to include multiple other Esso and Exxon locations over the course of the next 45 years, until his retirement in 1996.
