oberta Lynn Garris (nee Tate), Age 66, Born January 29, 1955, passed away January 30, 2021. Beloved mother of Travis Vanscoy (Partner Carly Ullery), loving grandmother of Heather Vanscoy, cherished sister to Robert B. Tate, Jr. (Jill deceased), Karen L. Egan (John), Robin T. Tate (Toni), and the late Richard A. Tate (Edna). Devoted Aunt to Wesley (Robert Tate), Edward, James, Joseph, John Robert, and Kaitlyn (Karen Egan), Robin Jr. and Caralynn (Robin Tate), Cassie, Jessica, and Jonathon (Richard Tate). Great Aunt to Maddi, Tate, Stella (Edward), Isabella, and Mariana (Joseph) Dear Cousin and a dedicated friend to many. Beloved both by family and colleagues, Lynn gave more than 35 years of service to the landscaping industry. She began her career at Ruppert Landscape, eventually taking some time away for her family. Returning to the business with Level Green Landscaping as the office manager, Lynn was detail-oriented, attentive to facts, and had great administrative skills. She was always an asset to any company, but even more so to all the employees. Level Green was not just a job, but her family! She was loyal, dedicated, and took great pride in being a confidant and team member. Lynn will be remembered as a kind, generous, and loving woman who will be missed by her family and friends. Lynn had a huge heart for giving to others with an unquestioning love. And one of the most characteristic ways Lynn showed her love was through food; most often she would be found diligently and thoughtfully preparing homemade meals as a way of caring for and connecting with her loved ones. And her Christmas Cookies surpassed all others. Lynn carried a spark of love, humor and wit that will carry on, forever bright in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, no public services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held in the future when it is safe to gather in person.
