Rodel R. Salvado - Obituary

odel R Salvado September 4, 1957 - April 19,2020 Rodel Salvado, born in Manila,Philippines on September 4, 1957, passed away peacefully after an illness on April 19, 2020 at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia. He graduated from the University of the East with a Degree in Bachelor’s of Science in Electronics Engineering in 1981. And migrated to the United States in1990. He was an active member of the Church of Christ in the Locale of Washington, DC and was a choir member since he was 7yrs old in the Locale of Tayuman, Philippines. He was blessed to be able to perform in the choir with his whole family. He was survived by his loving wife, Grace Salvado, his loving children, Rowell Gerard Salvado, Renard Glenn Salvado and Gabrielle Renee Salvado. Rodel loved to cook for his family and enjoyed camping with them. DAD We’ll always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace you always gave us. You being there for Mom and us, through good and bad times no matter what. We’ll always remember you Dad Because there’ll never be another one to replace you in our hearts, and the love we will always have for you. There will be a private viewing at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745 on Wednesday, April 29 at 10am. Intement will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 South Kings Hwy., Alexandria, VA 22306.
