Rogelio Tababa Pico - Obituary

ogelio Pico, 83, of Ft. Washington, Maryland passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. He was born on November 18, 1938, in Ilog, Negros Occidental, Philippines. In 1968, he graduated from FEATI University with a degree in electrical engineering. Subsequently, he immigrated to the United States and worked at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC until his retirement. He loved his family and enjoyed cooking, singing, fishing, traveling, and watching any kind of sports, especially football and basketball. He is survived by his wife, Isabel Pico and four children, Christina (Gerard) Sison, Roger Pico, Eric Pico, and Joy Pico, brothers Alfonso Pico and James Pico, and grandchildren Marissa Sison, Rachel Sison, AJ Sison, Jenna Sison, and Ethan Pico Benson-EL, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Rogelio's Life Celebration on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Columba Catholic Church, 7800 Livingston Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
