r. Roland E. Riley graduated Annapolis High School in 1942 then entered the United States Air Corps 1943, where he served as a metalworker repairing B-24 planes stationed at Tonopah Air Force Base,
Nevada. He was discharged in 1946 and entered National Chiropractic College graduating in 1950 with DC and ND degrees. He took over the practice of Dr. Henry A. Page on Main St. Annapolis until 1960 when he and his partner Harvey Brandmiller built a home-office near the Navy Marine Stadium on Taylor Ave. He was a member of the National Chiropractic Assoc. and Maryland Chiropractic Assoc. and served 2 terms on the Board of Directors. He treated many members of the Maryland Legislature and received commendation as the longest living practitioner in the State at that time. He often lectured on health issues at Towson State College and participated in many health fairs thru Anne Arundel County. He was a member of the Colonial Players assisting with sound production and acting.
In 1997 he and his partner Brandmiller retired and moved to Broadcreek Condominiums in Heritage Harbor where they did volunteer work and also travelled extensively throughout the world.
His life-partner Mr. Brandmiller pre-deceased him in 2008. He is survived by his sister Anne Cromwell of Anchorage, AK and a brother, Thomas A. Riley of Arnold, Md. Interment private.
