Ronald Blakeney - Obituary

onald A. Blakeney, 79 of Forestville, Maryland died on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born Wednesday, October 26, 1932 in Washington, District of Columbia, he was the son of William Blakeney and the late Ruth Prettyman. He was the husband of Marjorie Blakeney. He served as a Seaman in the Navy from 1951 until 1954. He was a Veteran of Korea. He was a member of First Christian Church at Brock Hall. In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by a son and two daughters. Friends are invited to Ronald's Life Celebration at the First Christian Church at Brock Hall, 2400 Largo Rd., Upper Marlboro, MD on Monday, December 12 from 10:00am until his funeral service begins at 11:00am. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
