Ronald Hare - Obituary

onald L. Hare, 68, a resident of Shady Side, MD, died on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at his home. He was born July 5, 1947 in Elizabeth City, NC to the late Charles and Betty Hare. After graduating high school, he served in the United States Air Force as an Administration Specialist. Ron went on to a career in the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier in Orlando, FL and Upper Marlboro, MD and then became a Supervisor in Annapolis and Prince Frederick, MD. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, Johnny, and his brother, Charles. Ronald is survived by his wife of 30 years, Deborah of Shady Side; a daughter, Michelle Oiler; a brother, Donald; and four grandchildren, Sean, Brandon, Jacob and Morganne Oiler all of Florida. Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, February 9 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, with military honors at 7pm. Interment private.
