ose Brahm Haas of Fort Washington, Maryland passed away peacefully in Christ on Monday June 17, 2019. She was married to the late Bernard Haas for 65 years and is the loving mother of Bernard Haas Jr., Daniel Haas (Valerie), John Haas (Hannah), David Haas (Mary), Maryann Ashbacker (Rick), the loving grandmother of Jonathan Haas (Amanda), Kelly Heilmann (Eric), David Norris, Jessica Rodgers (Dylan), Olivia, Anna, and Daniella Haas, Jeffrey Ashbacker, Melissa and Katrina Haas, and loving great grandmother of Alora, Nolan and Haliyah Haas, and Emma and Lucas Heilmann. She grew up in the Anacostia neighborhood of Washington D.C. and graduated from Immaculata Jr. College. She worked as an executive secretary for the CIA and later as a secretary and book keeper at Rosecroft Park Elementary School in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Rose was devoted to her family and took pleasure in hosting many happy family gatherings and celebrations with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing games and was a skilled card player. Rose was a woman of deep faith and her wisdom and true counsel were a touchstone for her entire family. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Ignatius Church, 2315 Brinkley Rd. Fort Washington, MD 20744. The Visitation, Memorial Mass, and Internment will be held on Saturday June 29 followed by a reception. All are welcome to attend.
