Rose F. Rubino - Obituary

ose Fama Rubino, of Springfield, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at her home. Born on April 30, 1929 in Maryland Park, MD to the late Nunziato and Vincenza Fama, Rose was the beloved wife of the late Dominick N. Rubino; loving mother of Michael J. (Mary Jean) and Patricia A. Rubino and Nancy R. (Mike) Casey; sister of Grace Rinick and Nancy (Nick) Garito, also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Rose's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Friday, May 3 from 4 to 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD on Saturday, May 4 at 10:30 am. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org).
