Rosemarie Decesaris Long - Obituary

n Thursday, September 24, 2026, Rosemarie DeCesaris Long, of Bishopville, MD, found everlasting peace, surrounded by her family. She was a lover and a fighter. She had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest for as long as she was able. Rosemarie is survived by her husband, Steve Long; her daughter, Natalie Walter (Jason); her grandchildren, Kayla Marie, Madelyn Rose, Joshua Mark, and Luke Oliver; her great-granddaughter, Francesca Lorraine, her mother, Josephine DeCesaris, her siblings, Annette DeCesaris (Jeffrey Steinour), Maryann Twohig (Francis, Sr.), and Anthony DeCesaris, Jr. (Kelly); her brother-in-law, Mike Long (Bettina); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony DeCesaris, Sr. her brother, Marco DeCesaris, Sr., and her parents-in-law, Lee and Dorothy Long. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rosemarie's life on Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 10am until 11 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Entombment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
