Rosemary Heinz - Obituary

osemary Heinz, 78, a fifty six year resident of Annapolis, died of lung cancer on February 9 at her daughter’s residence in Denton. Born on November 15, 1935 in Fairmont, WV to the late John and Margaret Hupp, Rosemary was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed crafts, animals, bowling, cooking and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Heinz who died on November 19, 2008. Rosemary is survived by three daughters, Pamela McBee of Denton, Beverly Bates of Easton and Donna Hazel of Chester and eight grandchildren, Richard Bates, Jr. of Laurel, DE, Scott Ford, Jr. of Chestertown, Brian Bates of Easton, Matthew Torres of Crownsville, Alan and Tyler Torres both of Chester, Christina Titz of Queen Anne and Jaime Porter of Price. Friends are invited to Rosemary’s Life Celebration from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Sunday, February 16 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater where her funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, February 17. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery Mausoleum in Annapolis.
