osemary Mimms, 86, a resident of the St. Margaret's area in Annapolis, MD, died on April 17, 2016 in Easton, MD. Born on October 28, 1930 in Baltimore, MD, Rosemary attended the Seton School and later worked as a switchboard operator at Sears. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. John Neumman Catholic Church in Annapolis. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Mimms, Jr., who died in 2008. She is survived by her children, Robert Dudley Mimms of Greensboro, MD, Joseph Walton Mimms of Hillsboro, MD, Christopher Samuel Mimms of Roxboro, NC, Bonnie Lee Jarrell of Preston, MD and Patricia Robin Mimms of Annapolis, MD. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Rosemary's life from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Wednesday at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where her funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, April 21.
