Russell Bywaters - Obituary

ussell R. Bywaters, 61, a 50-year resident of Edgewater, MD died on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born July 27, 1949 in Washington, DC, he served in the United States Army from 1969-71. Russell retired from the Federal Government as a Safety and Occupational Health Manager of the Defense National Stockpile Center. Russell was predeceased by his second wife, Rebecca Sue Bywaters, who died in 1991; his father, Thomas R. Bywaters; a grandson, Mark A. Salvador and a sister, Cheryl Lee Bywaters. He is survived by his two children, Russell A. Bywaters of Raleigh, NC and Kelly K. Salvador of Damascus, MD; a brother, Domenico F. Cicala (Linda) of Friendship, MD; his mother, Jeanruie Bywaters; also survived by two grandchildren, Ryan A. and Brandon A. Salvador, both of Damascus, MD. Friends are invited to Russell's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Saturday, March 26 at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
