Ruth Fairbank - Obituary

uth S. Fairbank, a 15 year resident of Heritage Harbour in Annapolis, MD and previously of Edgewater and Arnold for 35 years, died on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House in Harwood, MD of lung cancer. Born on April 7, 1931 in Baltimore, MD, Ruth was a homemaker for most of her life. An avid reader, Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was married to the late Robert M. Fairbank from September 9, 1950 until his death on May 18, 2006. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sandy Chambers of Chevy Chase, MD, her son, Dave Fairbank of Newport News, VA, her brother, Thomas Satterfield of Berlin, MD and two grandchildren, Michael and Alex Chambers both of Chevy Chase, MD.
