Ruth Parker - Obituary

uth Tomasik Parker, 88, passed away at Baywoods of Annapolis on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Ruth was born on November 19, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Joseph and Josephine Tomasik. She was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Ruth was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Davidsonville, MD. She loved history and was a docent for Historic Annapolis. Ruth also enjoyed decoupage. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, of 64 years, Edward C. Parker. She is survived by her son, Steven (Sue) Parker of Crownsville; a daughter, Linda Morris of Issaquah, WA; three grandchildren, Scott(Shannon) of Annapolis, Mark (Elizabeth) of Annapolis, and Stephanie Morris of London, England. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Interment immediately following at Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD 21035, or Seasons Hospice, 6934 Aviation Blvd., Suite N-R, Glen Burnie, MD.
