tephen G. McDonald Sr., “Gary”, 65, of Crownsville, MD., passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017.
Gary was born on October 18, 1952 in Washington D.C. He was the loved son of Dolores McDonald and the late Leo McDonald.
With his family being his first passion, his other passions were automobiles, drag racing, football, Nascar, and baseball. He was a diehard fan of the Washington Redskins and the Washington Nationals. He had an amazing knowledge of cars and was an incredibly talented auto mechanic.
He worked as the shop manager at Oxon Hill Exxon under his good friend, Robin Adams, for 24 years. He was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his four sons, Stephen McDonald Jr, Kirk McDonald, Dylan McDonald, Austin McDonald and wife Lisa McDonald; two grandchildren Drew and Bennett McDonald and three sisters Christine Adams, Judy Peyton, and Brenda Sauls.
Relatives and friends are invited to Gary's Life Celebration on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 5416 Henderson Way, Suitland, MD 20746. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
