STCM Chester Poliskey - Obituary

hester A Poliskey of Oxon Hill, MD passed away peacefully at home on November 29th 2014, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth B. Poliskey. Father of the late Barbara Ann Thomas, Lewisburg, , PA, Grandfather of Lisa Sandusky, Westminister, MD. Survived by Steffanie Wood, Richmond CA and Jerry Poliskey, Grass Valley, CA. Chester was born and raised in Lansing, OH on July 17, 1924. A World War II veteran, having participated in four invasions in the European/African Theater, He retired a Master Chief Sonar Technician (STCM) in 1969 from the U. S. Navy after 24 years active service. He then retired from Vitro in 1981, followed by a third career at Andrews AirForce Base Golf Course. It is requested that any donations be made to the American Heart Association or United States Navy Memorial.
