n Saturday, July 21, 2012, the beloved wife of the late Martin S. Portu; loving mother of Maria J. (William) Timpanaro, Paul A. (Patricia) Portu, Sr. and Teresa M. (Carter) King; devoted grandmother of Michelle M. Luck, Jennifer L. and Paul A. Portu, Jr.; great-grandmother of Elena M. Luck. Family and friends are invited to Sammie's Life Celebration on Tuesday, July 31 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd. Oxon Hill, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, August 1 at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2210 Callaway St., Hillcrest Heights, MD. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
