amuel W. Carte, Jr. Samuel Carte, 74, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his home in Harwood. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judith Carte; one daughter, Anita Uber (Joseph) and one son, Timothy Carte (Doris), also survived by 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 18 from 10am until a funeral service begins at 12pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment at Loudon Park Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
