Sandi Flowers - Obituary

andra “Sandi” Flowers, 65, a resident of Edgewater, MD for over 10 years and previously of Bowie, MD died at her home on June 28, 2007 of natural causes. Born January 12, 1943 to Paul D. & the late Evelyn Wilburn, she is a graduate of Strayer University in Washington, D.C. She is a previous member of the Bowie Woman's Club. She also had 30 pen pals, 2 who she had been writing for over 35 years, avid movie goer, usually 3 to 5 times a week. She is a proud grandparent, loved the ocean and the beach. Beloved wife of Wilber Willis Flowers, III who she married in 1963; mother of Scott John Flowers of Edgewater, MD and the late Jeffrey Ryan Flowers, who passed away in 1991; sister of the late Melinda Wilburn; also survived by two granddaughters. Friends are invited to Sandi's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 2 at 11am. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery.
