Sandra Lee Albright - Obituary

andra Lee “Sandy” Albright, 88, a 19 year resident of Edgewater and previously of McConnellstown, PA, died at her home on July 23, 2026 after a three week illness. Born on February 27, 1938 in Boswell, PA to the late Joseph and Mary Bodziak, she worked for many years in the Prince George’s County public school system. In her spare time, she loved doing crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Albright, a son, Ronald Albright and her brother, Joseph Bodziak, Jr. Sandy is survived by her children, Sharon Wilkerson and Theresa Peake, both of Edgewater, and Joseph Albright of Harrington, DE; her sister, Barbara Clark of Cape Coral, FL; her grandchildren, Steven Wilkerson of Florence, SC, Bryan Huffer of North Carolina, Mickey Peake of Edgewater, Amanda Smith of Glen Burnie, MD, Nicole Simpson of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Brittney Huffer of Washington and Sandra Peake of Edgewater; and ten great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sandy's life on Thursday, July 30 from 11 am to 12 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD, where her funeral service will begin at 12 noon.
