Sandra Jones - Obituary

andra Jean Jones, “Sandy”, San”, age 48, a thirteen year resident of Edgewater and formerly of Eastport died on Wednesday, November 19 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. Born on December 2, 1965 in Annapolis to the late Edward and Betty Drury, Sandy was a graduate of Annapolis High School and worked in banking with BB&T as a teller. She loved shopping (especially on Black Friday), Coca Cola, bowling, watching her son play basketball and being with her family. Sandy was also a huge Redskins fan, loved ladybugs and loved her three dogs. Sandy is survived by her husband, Arthur "Ottie" T. Jones, III, whom she married in 2001; her children, Carly and Arthur "Ottie" Jones, IV both of Edgewater, MD; her siblings, Sharon Sheckells and Edward Drury both of Annapolis, MD; a niece, Kayla Sheckells of Annapolis, MD; two nephews, Floyd Sheckells of Severna Park, MD and Edward Drury of Annapolis, MD and many cousins. Friends are invited to Sandy’s Life Celebration on Tuesday, November 25 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm until her memorial service begins at 7:00 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment will be private. She will be really missed. We love you Sandy.
