Sandra Loomis - Obituary

andra Sue “Sandy” Loomis , 48 a 10 year resident of Troy, PA. previously of Bowie, MD, died February 7, 2009 of natural causes. Sandra was born December 13, 1960 in Wilmington DE. to Wilmer and Marjorie Loomis of Edgewater, MD. She graduated from Princess Garden Special Center in New Carrollton, MD. in 1982. She worked for Burch, Rhoads and Loomis, P.A. Physical Therapist in Annapolis as a laundry aide. Sandra was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Bowie, MD. She was an avid equestrian and swimmer and earned all possible awards given by the AWANA program. Besides her parents she is survived by a brother, Richard A. Loomis of Eads,TN. and his wife Vonda, 1 niece and 4 nephews. Family and friends are invited to Sandra's Life Celebration on Friday, February 13 from 12 noon until service time at 1:30PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd. Edgewater, MD. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Martha Lloyd Community Services, 190 W. Main St. Troy, PA. 16947.
