Sandra McHugh - Obituary

andra J. McHugh, 66, a longtime resident of Annapolis, died July 4 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Ms. McHugh was born June 5, 1942, to the late A. Franklin and Alma G. Bowers. She worked for the Anne Arundel County Board of Education for 10 years and was previously employed with Travel Unlimited of Severna Park and Triple A of Annapolis. She enjoyed her dogs, reading, gardening and floral designs. Survivors include three daughters, Frankie Porter of Davidsonville, Kim Brooks of Mountain Lake Park and Tracy Miller of Stevensville; one sister, Kay Poole of Lewes, Del.; and six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Cape St. Claire United Methodist Church, 855 Chestnut Tree Drive.
