Sandra Milanese - Obituary

andra Zampiello Milanese, age 68, an eleven year resident of Edgewater, MD, died of complications due to lung cancer on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at her residence. Born in Glendale, Rhode Island on December 30, 1941, Sandra owned and operated Skyline Florist in Falls Church, VA for two decades. She enjoyed gardening and running her floral business. Sandra was predeceased by her husbands, Mario E. Zampiello and Hugh “Tony” Milanese. She is survived by two sons, Mario and Dorian Zampiello, both of Chantilly, VA; a daughter, Tammy Nixon of Mt. Airy, MD; three sisters, Faye Fraser of Riverside, CA, Nancy Belleville of Winfield, IL and Joyce Arsenault of Cumming, GA; four grandsons, Devon, Nicholas, Colton and Aiden: and four granddaughters, Kyler, Taylor, Payton and Adison. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Old Post Chapel, 204 Lee Avenue, Ft. Myer, VA. 22211. Interment Arlington National Cemetery.
